The Precursor to the ARC

ARContribution by Ray Fisk

In 1994, the AMA was one of the first organizations to have an online presence with a simple Web site known as the Marketing Mix. Ray Fisk was the driving force behind this early presence and the site lived on a workstation in Charles Hofacker's house. Ray was also instrumental (along with Josh Schneider and Les Girolami) in making sure that the AMA ended up with the domain name ama.org. More recently, Ray rescued these images for history.
